Magnetic flight test recording system (MFTRS), being developed by BAC' s Guided Weapons Div, employs PCM techniques and 3150 channels for analog and digital data, and will be used to gather, time, process, record, and display all performance parameters for two prototype Concorde aircraft, two preproduction craft and first production vehicle; MFTRS is composed of five different functional groups -- central timing equipment, three PCM subsystems, digital multiplexer, analog subsystems, and control and display units; functions of each; possible future use.
