Analytical method for ejector problem makes it possible to propose and exploit quantitatively entirely theoretical flow model for evaluating in-flight performance of vehicle-integrated air-augmented propulsion systems; using this flow model, ejector pumping characteristics, matching of ejector-intake system, gross thrust, and net thrust for in-flight performance evaluations of ejector nozzles can be determined theoretically; theory is capable of predicting cold and hot flow operating characteristics as well as influence of different values of specific heat ratios.
