Hunter and Wigham Richardson; length 483 ft, breadth molded 65 ft 3 in., depth molded 36 ft 9 in., capacity 14,000 t on 27 ft 3 in. draft; power plant consists of triple-expansion engine having cylinders of 27 1/2 in., 45 1/2 in. and 76 in. diam., with 51-in. stroke, operating in conjunction with Bauer-Wach exhaust turbine.
