Light rural traffic may justify construction of one track of high-type surface; average daily traffic of but 150 vehicles may be sufficient to make such improvement economically justified; annual road costs; costs of vehicle operation; life and resurfacing costs of single-track pavements; single-track concrete and earth roads compared; maintenance costs.
