Study was conducted at one high volume ramp terminal under both one-lane and two-lane ramp access conditions, at connection of ramp leading from George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway southbound in New York City; maneuvers observed; observations indicated that use of camera would be only suitable method of recording; comparison of various lane arrangements were based on 5 min volumes, speeds and lane changes.
