Conversion from rail haulage to truck haulage resulted from decision to raise ore production to 108,000 tons per day at Bingham; reasons why truck haulage vs electric locomotives or conveyor belts was chosen are explained in terms of phase-in, operation, bench height, drill size and blasting system.
