Principles of Knoller-Betz effect which led to investigations of flapping wing with rear-wing; rotating "undulator" has been developed which, in conjunction with rigid rear-wing, constitutes novel "undulating propeller"; results of various experiments and wind tunnel tests show that propeller is capable of producing good thrust, of increasing lift and of preventing separation of flow; examples of possible applications are given.
