Synthesis technique based on Liapunov's direct method is developed in relation to time variable nonlinear multivariable systems; it is shown that simplified control law can be derived when plant which may be interacting is caused to track linear noninteracting model; system design is shown to be stable in sense of Lagrange, ultimate bound on error being within designer's control; synthesis technique is illustrated in relation to attitude control of rigid body (satellite).
