Paper attempts to encourage technical management to realize that in long run, success in producing product competitively depends upon effective utilization of human resources through proper motivation; this is only possible when personal and company goals are integrated; approach, applied by Rocketdyne Div, North American Aviation Inc, involves difficult task of learning how to apply basic skills of economists and behavioral scientists, as well as technical skills, to management decisions in aerospace industry.
