Report on construction of caisson for new highway bridge over Hawkesbury River at Peats Ferry, NSW; caisson, which is 50 ft 6 in. long by 22 ft 6 in. wide, was sunk to 170 ft below low water and disappeared below surface of river; proposed construction of new caisson of similar dimensions to be joined onto sunken piers.
