Floating platform to be known as Triton, is built on submerged buoyancy structure and able to support payloads of 25 to 1000 tons, and is for work in depths of water up to 600 ft; it was developed originally for undersea oil drilling by Intercontinental Mar Development Ltd of London in association with Cammell Laird and Co (Shipbldrs and Engrs) Ltd; it is equally suitable for salvage or construction work, undersea geological sampling, as signal base, helicopter landing platform, ship terminal, etc.
