Design for satellite attitude control to use fuel efficiently involves series of trade-off modes in which most important considerations are desired satellite life, cost of placing pound of fuel in orbit, frequency of use and duty cycle of several modes and maneuvers described, allocation of fuel among desired stabilization modes, and accuracy desired.
