Success of Walsall Corp experiment led, in 1957, to revision of law so that 2-axle layout was acceptable for 30-ft buses, whether single-or double-deck; scheme is proposed for 100 passenger double-decker; it is shown how trolley bus could be built for capacity incorporating all new ideas on electric traction equipment from British Railways' acceptance of high-voltage electrification on overhead wire principle.
