Description of series of main propulsion Diesel engines completed by W. H. Allen, Sons and Co, for installation in single screw salvage vessels; feature of engines is that electric generator can be driven by Diesel when vessel is stationary, dynamo then supplying current for motor driven salvage pumps and other auxiliaries; each of these engines rated at 340 bhp at 600 rpm.
