Method of drawing ships' line by mathematical procedure to satisfy previously determined coefficients and characteristics; lines obtained are of necessity perfectly fair, and give precisely required displacement, coefficients of form, and any other data laid down; method makes use of curve of water plane area coefficients from keel to water line; water line equations only are used.
