New deck girder span over Gunnison River near Sapinero, Colo, was erected by ingenious methods due to lack of mobile handling and hoisting equipment; girders were moved across stream with A-frames, block and tackle and rollers; bridge has R/C deck and provides 30-ft clear roadway with 2-ft walks on either side; girders measured 124 ft 6 in. by 7 ft and weighed about 25 tons each.
