Article recalls electrification of original Nantasket branch of New Haven, Mt. Holly branch of Pennsylvania Railroad, and Baltimore and Ohio's Baltimore tunnel, all three of which occurred in 1895, credit for "famous firsts" being claimed for two of roads on different counts.
