Report summarizes results of braking tests made with aircraft tire to study effect of surface texture, wheel load, tire pressure, tread pattern and tire wear on skidding resistance of wet surfaces at speeds up to 60 mi/hr; surface texture affected braking performance to greatest extent; it was found that skidding resistance of coarse textured surfaces tested was less affected by changes in tire conditions, than fine textured surfaces.
