Thermos, which is used aboard spacecraft to maintain constant temperature for crystal oscillator, was environmentally tested in space simulators; measured thermal resistance showed consistent values with calculated ones; however, temperature of inner container was seriously affected by contamination of residual gas molecules showing heavy drift and large cyclic variation; thermos is recommended to be kept in pressurized vessel.
