Vital importance lies in fact that temperature of turbine rooms on board Austrian war vessels rules much higher than it ever did when reciprocating engines were employed; owing to insufficient ventilation, this temperature rose so high that physical alertness and capacity for permanent attention of engine-room staffs were greatly impaired.
