Verksted A/S for Thoresen Shipping Co, and Viking II is nearing completion; ships have bow and stern doors to expedite vehicle loading and discharging; length oa 99 m, breadth molded at car deck 17.70 m, depth to car deck 5.65 m and to promenade deck 10.35 m, maximum load draft 4.40 m, gross register 3600 tons, service speed 19 1/2 knots; two 12-cyl main engines built by A/B Lindholmens Varv are of S.E.M.T.-Pielstick design and each is rated at about 5500 bhp at 475 rpm; plan.
