Feasibility of putting into service 3 hydrofoils between Ostend and London is examined, distance between ports involving 80 nautical mi of open sea and almost 40 mi in estuary; consideration is given to probable number of passengers, choice of size and speed of boats, type of boat (considering wind and waves), economic aspects for initial operational year, running expenses, etc. Second part of paper before "Acad de Marine" in Antwerp, 1963.
