Installation and methods developed by English Steel Corp at its Tinsley Park Steelworks, Sheffield; scheme developed was to receive scrap by rail principally, any road deliveries to be put into rail cars and to sort these cars according to type and weight on set of sidings; traffic study to determine optimum rail system to handle required through-put and to cater for normal production and delivery fluctuations in Stage 1 of site development.
