Power requirements for tracked military vehicles under quasi-combat mobility operations are examined; tracked type vehicle or testing tank was selected as representative vehicle to be subjected to severe and changing mobility demands of combat operation; mobility requirements were broken down into battlefield day and cruising (or convoy) range; instrumentation plans, testing procedures, and results determining power requirements are presented and evaluated under varying conditions; sample data are shown.
