Method is presented for computing size and weight of powder rockets together with length of take-off and landing resulting when such rockets are applied to gliders, powered gliders, landplanes, sea gliders, and seaplanes; computations lead to conclusion that power rockets are perfectly feasible for auxiliary propulsion during takeoff of powered gliders and for take-off of towing flight.
