Illustrated description of 6-engined Latecoere 631 flying boat in production at St. Nazaire; construction of first aircraft was begun in 1938, but it was dismantled and parts hidden when Germans invaded France; powered by Wright Cyclone 14 GR 2600-A5B engines of 1600 hp for take-off at 2400 rpm and 1000 ft; wing span 188 ft; length 142 ft 6 in.; height 34 ft to top of fin; gross weight 157,300 lb.
