Trolley coaches have lower cost of operation per seat per mi in range of 800 to 3500 passengers per hr than do either motor buses or trolley cars; passengers prefer trolley coaches to buses and street cars; because of relatively small amount of wear, life of vehicle is limited by obsolescence rather than by mechanical failures.
