Plant installed at King's Cross locomotive depot, L.N.E.R., for cleaning locomotives by spray or jet method; at present installation is dealing with wheels, motion and all parts below footplate of 96 tank engines per week, time allowance being 3 hr per engine per man, representing saving of 3 hr on every engine treated, chemicals employed; effect on bearings.
