Description of articulated locomotives of 4-8-8-2 type built by Baldwin Locomotive Works; engines are arranged for operating with cab in front; engine beds are of cast steel for front and back units; four high pressure cylinders measure 24 in. by 32 in.; coupled wheels 5 ft 3 1/2 in. diam outside; boiler diam 7 ft 10 in.; steam pressure 250 lb per sq in.; rated tractive force 128,400 lb at 85% boiler pressure.
