Tests of 10-ft diam three-blade Curtiss 89301-15 propeller with Clark Y blade sections conducted in Langley 16-ft high speed tunnel to determine effect of simulated ice on aerodynamic characteristics of propeller; propellers tested on new 2000-hp dynamometer, at rotational speed of 1800 rpm for blade angles of 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°, and 40°, and air-speeds varying from 120 to 420 mph.
