How flight crew utilizes spacecraft systems and to what degree various systems are automated or manually controlled; flight crew will be responsive to overall mission command from earth; if communications with earth fail, crew will have on board all resources for mission completion; description of Apollo vehicles, mission sequence and crew tasks; factors in determining degree of automatic or manual control for systems functions; launch aborts, in-flight maintenance and repair, lunar landing, and scientific exploration of moon; lunar orbit rendezvous and controlled earth re-entry.
