Results of parametric study of lifting re-entry vehicles conducted to indicate interplay of major re-entry parameters in defining maneuvering boundaries for model trajectory; study was performed in terms of dominant vehicle and performance parameters and includes velocity range from suborbital to escape speed with re-entry initiated at 400,000 ft; vehicles possessing wing loadings from 20 to 500 psf and lift/drag ratios of 0.25 to 4 were studied.
