New ground equipment, Linemaster hose-end pressure controller, developed by Zwicky Ltd, is intended to allow aircraft to be pressure refueled without risk of damage to aircraft fuel gallery lines or tanks due to pressure surges; background to requirement; Line-master consists of pressure control valve and hose-end coupling combined into one unit; pressure control valve is double diaphragm unit, one diaphragm being subjected to predetermined air pressure and other to fluid pressure on delivery side of controller valve.
