Fueling facilities and techniques commonly employed today at airfields throughout world; transfer of fuel from storage depot into aircraft by specially designed fuelers and by pipelines under parking apron, terminating in carefully located hydrant points which in turn are linked to aircraft by mobile hydrant dispenser; precautions taken to ensure and maintain very high safety and quality control standards and problems to be solved by both airport planner and fuel suppliers due to expected introduction of supersonic airliners.
