Results of tests carried out at Nat Aeronautical Establishment, showed that best performance could be obtained with mixing tube length to width ratio of about 6; thrust augmentation ratio of 1.3 was obtained for secondary to primary area ratios greater than 19; further increase in thrust augmentation of 10% was achieved by diffusing mixing tube walls to total angle between 2 and 4°.
