Operational history of tugs Rochester, Cleveland, Olean and Scranton, built in 1930 by Pusey and Jones Corp, for Erie Railroad; length 102. 7 ft; beam 26.1 ft; depth 11.7 ft; propelled by two 4-cycle, trunk piston Ingersoll-Rand Diesel engines each developing 500 hp at 265 rpm, which are directly connected to General Electric main and auxiliary generators; main generators are rated 330-kw, 250-v, d-c and auxiliary generators are rated 30-kw, 125-v, d-c.
