Hydrofoils in service are of Supramar design; first was built at Deggendorf/Donan shipyard and 2 others at Bausch shipyard in Cologne; Al-Mg 5 Perulamium 5 was used for external plates and bulkhead, and Al-Mg-Si for interior; shock absorbers with castors at their extremities are fitted to broadside to protect foils, which protrude 25-30 cm from craft side; first craft is fitted with 150 hp Mercedes-Benz gasoline engine, others with 120 hp Ford diesels; top speed is 60 km/hr.
