Twelve twin articulated chrome steel trains being built by Ganz and Co, Budapest, are of two types, but have same engine power and equipment; front and rear ends of train supported on 2-axle trucks carrying two 320-bhp engines and mechanical transmissions; engines are of 8-cyl VIIIJaR170 Ganz-Jendrassik type having170-mm bore and 240-mm stroke with normal output of 320 bhp at 1250 rpm.
