Since its original conception, project has grown from aircraft of 8600 lb all-up-weight with two 340-hp piston engines, to present turbine-powered Skyvan of 12,500-lb all-up-weight with two 666 ehp turbine engines; description of design philosophy as it applies to wing, flap, engine nacelles, rear fuselage, tail unit, flying controls and performance.
