Application of integraph to flooding calculations was suggested in paper by J. G. JOHNSTONE, before Institution of Naval Architects in 1907; method now proposed is similar, but has been extended so that ordinates to curve of floodable length may be obtained with accuracy instead of only approximately; process entirely mechanical, no numerical calculations being necessary.
