On very busy section new signaling enables additional electric trains to be operated, and also permits steam passenger and freight trains ot be worked as required on electric lines; number of special features are incorporated; track layout and connections; steam and electric traffic conditions; power supply and distribution; fog repeaters; track circuits and overlaps; approach and route locking; train stops and proving; detection and telephones.
