How continuous communication with moving trains on Belgian National Railways is achieved by track conductors over which control signals are transmitted by digital computer; system installed consists of loop of insulated cable 15 km long laid between rails and fed at one end with signals from trackside control building; equipment installed experimentally is suitable for continuous train control, repetition of standard signal aspects in driver's cab, and telephone link.
