There is now generally adequate supplies of petroleum products throughout world; but there is virtually no cushion of reserve capacity to take care of any new emergencies; aviation gasoline supply still not satisfactory and residual fuel in short supply; effect of Korean War; Iranian dispute; maps show world crude oil production and consumption; status of motor gasoline, diesel fuel, synthetic fuels, lubricating oils and lubricating oil additives.
