Disadvantages of transfer of weight from rear to front axle when braking with conventional four-wheel brakes; variation of load on wheels during slowing down period demonstrated by analysis of factors effecting amount of weight transfer; author proposes compensating system, for hydraulic brakes, that gives to each pair of wheels, braking couple proportional to load on them, taking into account gradual increase of weight on front wheels and decrease on back wheels.
