Built at Neville Island Shipyard of Dravo Corp, vessels are used in sand, gravel and coal towing operations on Pittsburgh waterways; length 116 ft; beam 27 ft; depth molded 10 ft; each vessel powered by two General Motors supercharged, 6-cyl, 2-cycle, model 6-278 A Diesel engines, each developing 500 hp at 700 rpm.
