Incorporating latest features for fast handling of passengers and freight, and built at cost of $1,700,000, CPR terminal at Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, is designed and equipped to accommodate traffic moving by road, rail, and water; passenger section of layout is 2-story building of concrete construction, with waiting room accommodation for 3000 persons; freight sheds provide storage area of 28,000 sq ft.
