Reduction of curve resistance by lubricating guiding surface of outer rail is not sufficient to improve behavior of worst runner; lubricator must be thoroughly controlled; with proper lubrication of outer rails cars could pass as easily through curves with radii of 150 to 160 m as at 225 m and dry rails.
