Overall design of satellite launcher has been chosen to make maximum use of components and design concept of Black Knight; to save cost, size of vehicle and supporting service requirements have been tailored to existing Black Knight facilities in Great Britain and Australia; Black Arrow consists of three stages, first and second stages using liquid propellants hydrogen-peroxide and kerosene; third stage is spin-stabilized solid-propellant motor; other details and possible missions.
