Design and performance of stabilization unit which improves frequency stability of Black Brant III rocket telemetry transmitter to which it is attached; stabilization is achieved by phase-locking subharmonic of transmitter frequency of crystal oscillator; frequency division, stable frequency generation, and phase detection are all performed by broadband logic elements in form of silicon integrated circuits; advantages and disadvantages of approach, developed by Radio and Electrical Engineering Div of National Research Council.
