"Blue Comet" Specials are especially designed all-steel coach trains "de luxe"; locomotive used is one of new "Pacific" type, and it hauls train of unique cars, painted in shades of blue and cream, and mounted on journals running in roller bearings; trains make 136 mi. run in 168 min. (including two permissive stops) at 48.5 m.p.h.
